Our commitment as a firm is to our people.
Accolades aside, we’re also known for the investment we make in tomorrow’s lawyers through partner mentoring, our ongoing professional development programme and our general collegiality.
We’re also pretty keen on ensuring equity of opportunity – across all levels of the Firm. Moreover, we’re committed to our obligations under Te Tiriti O Waitangi, and to ensuring a truly diverse practice.
Our investment in tomorrow isn’t purely professional. We’re acutely aware of the importance of nurturing a workplace conducive to overall wellbeing. That’s why we’re committed to monthly wellbeing programmes and have initiated a peer-mentoring system to ensure our graduates and summer clerks are fully supported. And then there’s our social club behind our annual wellness day, ice-cream Wednesdays, or our staff-sports teams.
If we’re to truly commit to the next 160 years of the Firm, then our view is that we need to nurture the talent coming through. And that’s what we do. There’s a reason why our summer clerks return after graduation – ask around.
